Healthcare Assistant

Overview

Healthcare Assistant (MediNotes Pro) is a signed-in product form plus API. Clerk owns identity and the premium gate; one Consultation agent streams a frontier-model reply over SSE. Framed as research exploration, not a licensed clinical product.

System design

• Auth before inference. No stream without a verified JWT and premium subscription.
• Product form, agent stream. Next.js collects visit notes; FastAPI owns the model call and SSE.
• Server-side model only. The browser never calls OpenAI directly.
• Research deployment. Copy and UX stay exploratory — visit summary, next steps, and a patient-friendly draft email.
