Mental Model

Overview

The world loop is easiest to hold as five layers. AI sits in Create and Ideate; Host, Register, and Persist are runtime and files. Anthropic names from Building effective agents (PDF).

Applied workflows

• Orchestrator-Worker. Creator invents each worker from agent.py, registers it, then messages it for an idea; Worker Agents return the content Creator hands back to world.py.
• Parallelization. world.py gathers many create_and_message coroutines (HOW_MANY_AGENTS) against the shared host.
• Prompt Chaining (per agent). Template → generated module → register → “Give me an idea” → optional peer bounce → ideaN.md.
• Not used here (yet). Routing, Evaluator-Optimizer as first-class loops (peer bounce is probabilistic messaging, not a scored critique cycle).

Layers

• 1 Host. Start GrpcWorkerAgentRuntimeHost and a worker runtime on localhost:50051.
• 2 Create. Creator reads the agent.py template and emits raw Python for a new Agent class (agentN.py).
• 3 Register. Creator imports the module and registers the agent with the runtime.
• 4 Ideate. Creator asks the new worker for an idea; the worker may bounce the draft to a peer.
• 5 Persist. world.py writes the returned content to ideaN.md.
